Boğaziçi University Asian Studies Center in collaboration with the Japanese Studies Association (JAD) in Istanbul launched a talk series on "Modern Japan, Turkey and the Turkic World: Inter-Regional Relations." The first talk of the series was holdon "The Rise of a Modern Tatar Identity and the Diaspora in Asia: Naqshbandis, Commercial Networks, and Nationalism" by Emeritus Prof. Uli Schamiloglu on February 5, at 18.00 (Turkey time).
